Double Take: A Community Storytelling Event
Double Take is inspired by President Jim Ryan who first brought the event to UVA in 2018. The goal, according to President Ryan, is to create an opportunity to explore "the power of stories as a way to build bridges and as a way to build connections. If you want to understand someone else, you need to know their story, or at least one of their stories."
Members of our School of Continuing and Professional Studies' student community will share their personal stories at this special event. You can register to attend in person in rooms 101 and 102 of Old Ivy Hall by April 6, or register to attend by Zoom any time before the event.
A reception will follow the speaker session with drinks and appetizers.
