Below are some sample program areas we have developed and presented in collaboration with federal government agencies, local governments, and UVA Human Resources. These are just a small sampling of the kinds of programs we can develop for your organization.

Emerging Leaders Program: UVA SCPS partners with the federal government to deliver exceptional training for emerging leaders. Topics include leadership fundamentals, conflict management, motivation, team building and communication, leading productive groups, the power of listening, situational leadership, self-care and stress management.
County Government Leadership Institute: UVA SCPS partners with a local county government for this Leadership Institute that develops emerging leaders. Topics include team dynamics, managing conflict, practicing self-care, motivating employees, emotional intelligence, generational differences, influence without authority and change management.
Leadership at Every Level: UVA SCPS partners with the federal government to deliver high-quality, online, leadership programming. Topics include foundations of leadership, communication, team building and decision making in the digital age.
- Communication & Team Building

Employees at all levels of the organization can benefit from developing communication and teambuilding strategies. Drive your organization forward through high performing teams that communicate effectively and create spaces for innovation, creativity, and strategy.
- Project Management Fundamentals

All employees can benefit from project management skill development. This program provides more than the 23 contact hours needed for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification. While the program will not cover all parts of the Project Management Body of Knowledge necessary for the CAPM exam, it does address key topics and core competencies of project management. Key topics include roles and responsibilities, risk analysis and management, project management tools, agile framework, predictive methodologies, process improvement and iteration, and business analysis frameworks.
- Strategic Planning

Strategic planning is critical for all organizations. This program is ideal for both team retreats or mid to upper-level managers. Topics may include creative problem solving, strategic planning session, change management, and data analytics to drive decision-making.
- Skills for Executive Assistants

The Higher Education Program for Executive Level Assistants (HEPELA) was developed for executive assistants at the University of Virginia and can be tailored to your organization. Topics include leading at every level, emotional intelligence, influence without authority, communication, collaboration, breakthrough listening, and professionalism.
