Phaik Kin Cheah

Dr. Phaik Kin Cheah is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Social Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia. She is also a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida. She holds a PhD and a Master of Arts degree in Communication from Universiti Sains Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English Language from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her research area is in the broad areas of volunteer policing and crime prevention. Dr. Cheah has been serving as an officer in the Royal Malaysia Police Volunteer Reserve since 2014.
