Ross Wolf
Dr. Ross Wolf is Associate Provost at the University of Central Florida, serving as the academic and operational lead for the UCF Downtown campus. In addition to this role, he also serves as a Professor in UCF’s Department of Criminal Justice. Dr. Wolf has over 30 years of experience in higher education and over 30 years of experience as a full-time and reserve police officer. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed articles, professional articles, books and book chapters on campus law enforcement, police administration and management, volunteer policing, police use of force, tourism policing and international policing. He has worked not only with policing agencies throughout the United States, but also in Aruba, Dubai, Hong Kong, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, St. Lucia and the United Kingdom. Wolf currently serves with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) as an Executive Board Member of the International Managers of Police Academy and College Training (IMPACT) Section. He also serves on the National Sheriffs' Association (NSA) Reserve Law Enforcement Officer Working Group and Outreach Committee, and as board member and past-president of the Volunteer Law Enforcement Officer Alliance (VLEOA). Dr. Wolf was named a Fellow of the American Council on Education with the 2022-23 cohort.
