Ryan Butler

Ryan Butler (LinkedIn) is a Major at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, where he has served for more than 23 years with assignments in patrol, investigations, recruitment and training. Butler is a 2019 graduate of the FBI National Academy, where he received a Certificate in Criminal Justice Education through SCPS. Butler is a 2022 graduate of the SCPS Master of Public Safety program and is a member of the Master of Public Safety Advisory Board. Butler is a graduate of the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) Senior Management Institute for Police and the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University Center for Public Safety.
